A paper published in 2023 used the HCL Patient Data Registry to evaluate response to treatment in female patients with HCL compared to male patients with HCL. This study was supported by the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation. Two principal authors, Dr. Narendranath Epperla from The Ohio State University and Dr. Leslie Andritsos from The University of New Mexico, shared key findings of the study during a March 2023 webinar hosted by the HCLF.
