For over a decade, the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation has brought together patients with hairy cell leukemia (HCL) and their families to learn from the brightest doctors and leading researchers in HCL and to connect with other patients who have similar experiences. The HCLF has held the seminar in Houston, New York City, London (England), Heidelberg (Germany), and Chicago.

In September 2024, we’re excited to return to the campus of the Ohio State University (OSU), where HCL was discovered in 1958 by OSU hematologist and researcher Dr. Bertha Bouroncle.
